The camping program of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference provides limited funding for children and youth whose families have need of financial assistance. Camperships are awarded based on the availability of funds. Camper families who cannot afford the full fee should first contact their local United Methodist Church about scholarship support. If the camper's family and local church cannot cover the event cost, the family should fill out the Scholarship Request section of the Summer Camp Registration Form. A letter explaining the circumstances of the need must accompany request for scholarship.
Nancy A. Raab Memorial Fund Scholarship
Funds are available for campers who have needs beyond the resources listed above. Please contact Gretna Glen for an application. The maximum Nancy A. Raab Campership is $100.00 for full week and $50.00 for half week and day camp events. Camperships will be awarded based on needs as funds are available.
Bring a Friend Discount
If you attended a 2009 Gretna Glen Summer Camp event you may receive a discount off your 2010 registration fee for each new camper you refer who attends a 2010 Gretna Glen Camp event. Refer 1 new camper = $25 off; refer 2 new campers = $50 off; refer 3 new campers = $100 off; refer 4 or more new campers = One FREE Gretna Glen camping event! You must contact the Gretna Glen camp office, prior to registration, to obtain specific referral details in order to receive a discount!
Multi-Child Discount!
A multi-child discount will be offered in 2010. If a household sends a second child to Gretna Glen in the summer of 2010, they will get a $10.00 reduction in the fee for their event. A third child will get a $30.00 reduction in the fee for their event. Additional details are available by contacting the camp office.
